-- Your Winter Color Palette"

Color analysis winter season
On this page you'll find your personal winter color palette and everything you need to know about how to choose and wear colors that look best on your cool and vivid skin, hair and eye color.

If you're a Winter you probably have:

  • A lot of depth to your coloring with blue or ashy tints (very black hair, dark ashy brown)
  • Bluish or pinkish undertone
  • A lot of contrast between your hair color, eye color and skin tone -- like for example dark brown/black hair, with blue eyes and very pale complexion
  • Or darker skin tone (olive, black) and jetblack hair

You hair is very dark -- ranging from deep medium brown to jetblack with bluish or ashy tones.

You either have vivid colorings such as pale skin with dark hair/olive skin with dark hair/ or black/bronzed skin with dark hair. So both non-caucasian and caucasian women can be winters.

Winter Color Palette -- You Look Best In:

You and Summer share the same cool characteristics -- blue-toned, pinkish, ashy colorings -- so if you're slightly lighter than the average Winter you'll flow towards Summer's palette.

Your complexion looks best in intense deep, rich colors accented with jewel tones. Contrasted with bright white or icy pastels. But if you're a lighter winter (lighter hair) you can wear colors from Cool Summer.

Other great colors have cool undertones like dark navy, charcoal and even black -- which are pretty powerful colors. Perfect for your vivid colorings!

Note: You'll find a more personalized color palette based on your coloring attributes, further below.

You might also extend your color palette by doing a flow color analysis. It tells you that you can wear colors from another season depending on the intensity of your hair, skin and eyes. Click here to learn more.

Suggestions to Hair and Skin Color Changes (tan, lifestyle, hair dye)

If you dye your hair lighter you can also wear some of Summer's darkest colors or move up to Clear Winter's palette.

If you get tanned, you may suit some of the Deep Autumn or Deep Winter colors.

Colors You Should Avoid Wearing Close to Your Face

In contrast of the other seasons, avoid wearing earthy tones, muted or powdery colors near your face, as they'll make you look washed out.

You need something intense to hold your appearance up.

Finding Your Accurate Group in the Winter Color Palette

We're going to take a look at which color group you belong to within your Winter season, based on the intensity of your skin, hair and eye color.
