Bathing Suits For a Flat Butt?

What kind of swimsuit should a woman with a "flat butt' wear?
All if them are so geared to the model type ladies with perfect bodies or such a good shape that swim suits are designed for them..

And where can I find swim suits for this "flat butt". I am not having luck in the stores or on-line.

Hi Marty, the best bathing suits for a flat butt would be swimdresses, skirtinis, shortinis and boyshorts (two-piece bottom).

Swimdresses and skirtinis are made to disguise your butt -- they also visually add a hint of butt volume so that your butt won't look flat either. Boyshorts are perfect for women who don't like baring their (big or flat) butt cheeks out in public because it covers them as well as slightly lifts them.

Wearing a print top or a tankini/bikini top in a bright color with a dark colored bottom can also draw attention away from your butt.

I personally like boyshorts better than bikini (high-cut) bottoms because they give my bottom half some roundness. But to warn you they do tend to shorten legs :/

If you're really self-conscious about your flat rear you can always opt for an invisible butt enhancer. Hope this helps!

Boyleg Swimsuit for Tall Women

Where to get one?? Plus I would love it to have some padding. And open back. I'm 38, 5'11' and UK size 12, I just want to be comfortable on my holidays.


Padded boyleg swimsuits are a little tricky to find. But I did find a couple but with a medium low-cut leg on the Net:

If those doesn't strike your taste I would advise you to go for tankinis or swim dresses as they're easier to find than boyleg swimsuits.

They have same similar effect - providing modest coverage and slimming features.

Where Can I Find Cropped Tankini Swimsuit Tops With a V Hem?

I have spent HOURS looking online for a tankini swimsuit top that has is cropped and has a v hem on the bottom. This style is SOOO flattering for someone who doesn't want to wear a bikini top, but also doesn't want to wear a long tankini. The cut minimizes your waistline with the v-hem. The style that I am looking for is similar to the one above.

You're right about the V-hem of the cropped tankini top looking flattering. Unfortunately, they're not that common and I think that the pink multi (the same as the picture you provided) and blue multi at Ami Club Wear are the only ones I've found when doing a research on your request.

An alternative would be to send in a long tankini top to a local tailor who can sew the hem into a V-shape. It's not a common practice, but it's absolutely possible because that's what tailors do - fix, sew and alter garments :-)

A friend of mine recently had the hem of a bathing suit altered (shortening the hem so that her legs will look longer) and it looks great! It gives you an opportunity to pick whatever tankini top you like and have it fixed into your own liking.
