Dress shirts in white are versatile enough to be customized in a way you like and still maintain a sleek and chic look. You can also find different styles of the white shirt - with pretty and trendy details such as pleats, stripes, bibs and ruffles.

You can also transform the whole look with accessories such as scarves, bracelets, necklaces and bracelets. Not to mention, cardigans, vests, jeans, skirts and shoes.

If you have a heavy upper body (big bust or maybe a round or wide torso), a white shirt can emphasize that so what I recommend is:

Top it off with a dark solid colored cardigan or vest to slim it down
Look for dress with darts to help shape your waist
Look for dress shirts with black buttons or vertical details (ruffles, stripes, etc.)

Make sure that you also choose a shirt that fits you perfectly (avoid anything boxy, it'll make you look bigger) - around the waist, bust, arms and shoulders.
