What to Wear With Rhinestone Jeans?
by Sheronda
What to wear with rhinestone jeans?I purchased a pair of jeans that have rhinestones down the front of the jeans and on the back pockets. I have had these jeans over a year and still have no idea what to wear with them. I know that they are not appropriate to wear these jeans to work but I need suggestions on putting together a casual outfit and a going out look too. Thanks for any suggestions you can provide. Since the jeans are embellished you need to wear simple tops and accessories (preferably solid colored - maximum two colors, with minimal print and details, etc.) to avoid making your whole outfit look too much. Here are some stylish outfit ideas on how to wear the rhinestone jeans: Note: I'm using 'Guess Premium Revival Bootcut Stretch Jeans' from Buckle.com as an example. ![]() Look 1# You can combine the jeans with a simple dark, solid colored dollman off shoulder top (Arden B) to create a feminine-chic look. To make it more interesting add trendy teardrop earrings (multi colored earrings would also look good as long as you keep the rest of the outfit neutral and solid colored) and match them with the color of a pair of cute ballerina shoes. See how the brown earrings and flats can really tone down the outfit and make it look more down-to-earth (or more of a sexy-chic-girl-next-door-look)? Chunky, high heel sandals would also look good with this. Look 2# You can also experiment with tops that have more than one color and that feature a couple of cute details, such as this 'Frill Front Stripe Top' from TopShop. Add a pair of trendy white flat gladiator sandals into the mix to match the white stripes. Look 3# Prefer something more relaxed? Then why don't you add a print tee (Lagarconne) with the rhinestone jeans, and perhaps black wedge cork heel sandals for a fem-and-casual look? It's a great cross-mix of both laid-back and feminine pieces. You can of course wear flats or canvas sneakers if you want to go casual all the way. ![]() Look 1# High heels are a must for going out occasions. If you're not comfortable wearing high heels then I suggest you at least try wearing flat sandals with pointy toes or platform sandals with thicker heels to make walking and dancing much easier. For special occasions like this, I think it's absolutely ok to wear accessories that match with the rhinestones on the jeans. You can add a shot of color with a deep purple 'French Connection' one shoulder top paired with glistening silver hoop earrings and foxy high heel gladiator sandals with silver tone buckle details. Look 2# This outfit is more of a rough-and-tough one, with stud embellished neckline strapless top (Arden B)and black slouch 'Fergie Gallop Black Ankle Boots' Look 3# You can also wear an Arden B halter top with the jeans and inject some color with 'Pour La Victoire Adalene Red Pumps' I hope I gave some ideas so that you can start wearing those rhinestone jeans! Remember that the outfits are more true to my own personal style than yours, so they might not be your taste. Substitution is the name of the style game so have fun with the look and make it YOURS ;-) Sincerely, ![]() Related Content:
