I'm going to a November wedding in Charleston, SC. I have a short-sleeved, plum dress, knee length. What kind of shoes, accessories, and hosiery should I wear. Color, style?

Hi,

the plum (plum/purple is one of my favorite colors!) colored dress would look fabulous with gold jewelry. Warm colors such as gold, yellow, champagne and cream will bring out the beautiful color in your dress and flatter your skintone (I assume you have a warm skin tone).

Studded cubic zirconia/diamond earrings look classy, however if you want to look trendy you could go for simple gold chandelier earrings. I wouldn't wear a necklace with chandelier earrings (it's an over-kill) but combine it out with a chain or pearl bracelet.

You might also want to add a classy purse clutch in black. The black balances out the flashy gold in your outfit.





I recommend pump shoes in black or cream/beige satin or matte leather. For a flirty look pick a pair with peep toes or rhinestone detail.

Also add a pair of sheer pantyhose in a color similar to your skin tone for a flawless leg look.
