This is the last set (part 3) of chic must-haves in the Spring Fashion Trends 2010-report

Spring Fashion Trends 2010: 11. Ruffles

Ruffles add a girly-girl, romantic flair to any outfit. They're not as hot as they were last season but they sure are a foolproof spring closet add-on that never goes out of style.

How to wear ruffles:

Mini notebook icon Appear less frilly and create a super-chic outfit by mixing ruffles with modern, laidback pieces like for example a pair of simple denim shorts and gladiator sandals.

Mini notebook icon Ruffles can look good on anyone as long as you create the right balance. If your bottom is bigger than your upper half you'll benefit more from ruffle tops compared to apple shapes (big/wide bust or torso) because it fills out your figure, making it look like a proportional hourglass body shape. Remember to determine your body shape before trying out this trend.

Mini notebook icon Opt for fluid (long and lean) ruffles if you don't like the frilly-girl look. It looks more sleek and elegant.

Spring Fashion Trends 2010: 12. Sheer Top

Sheer Abstract Print Tunic
The sheer trend has been all over the runways by Donna Karan, Max Azria and Vera Wang, and is one of spring/summer 2010 top trends. It can be worn sexy, flirty, boldly or be tone down with layers. A loose, slightly drapey fit is on the spotlight, creating a casual yet feminine look that anyone can look good in. It's sexy in a subtle way, so you can wear it during the daytime as well.

How to wear sheer:

Mini notebook icon For looking modest and sophisticated make sure to add a seamless camisole non-sheer top under it

Mini notebook icon To achieve a stylish and school/office friendly look, layer it with a basic camisole or tank under it, and top it off with a cardigan

Mini notebook icon Create an ultra-trendy and bold look by wearing a bright colored top or bra underneath a simple sheer top tunic.

Mini notebook icon For a boho look, combine a sheer tunic blouse with print with a tank top, denim shorts and a straw panama hat รก la Nicole Richie

Spring Fashion Trends 2010: 13. One Shoulder

One of the most chic trends this season is the one shoulder. One shoulders on swimsuits, tops and dresses expose your shoulder in a sensual and stylish way. Some of the biggest highlights this season is the ruffle and floral one shoulder dress and top which are fabulous for achieving that flirty, feminine summer-look. And of course the one shoulder cocktail dress which makes sure you look ravishing on any semi-formal to formal occasion.

How to wear one-shoulder:

Mini notebook icon If you're hesitant to try out this trend start with a simple black sheath dress - it can be worn subtly with a blazer or a nice cardigan

Mini notebook icon One shoulders work like strapless tops, which means that it won't look appropriate for office work and conservative events

Mini notebook icon Consider investing in a backless or strapless bra. If you're aiming for a summery, flowy-looking late afternoon look, you might want to go braless and opt for nipple tape instead

Mini notebook icon To look casual in one shoulder tops and dresses, balance out the sexy look with other trendy pieces like a pair of jeans, long beaded necklace, flat sandals and a nice leather cross-body bag purse.

Spring Fashion Trends 2010: 14. Turquoise and Coral Jewelry

Infuse some exoticism in your outfits. Neutrals combined with bright, summery colors are a super-fresh, cool and chic look this season; turquoise and coral being two of the most popular colors for Spring and Summer. They're quite timeless and can look good on most skin tones. Not to mention that they enhance a gorgeous tan:

How to wear turquoise and coral jewelry:

Mini notebook icon Pick the right shade of turquoise by determining the undertone of your skin. Springs and Autumns tend to look better in green turquoise because of the warm greenish tone that compliment peachy/golden skintones, while Summers and Winters look spectacular in blue-ish turquoise because of the blue tone that looks fantastic on cool complexions.

Mini notebook icon If your style is classy and sophisticated start with small turquoise or coral accents such as beaded necklace, pendant, bracelets and earrings

Mini notebook icon Experiment with different nuances of turquoise and coral. I personally think coral red looks too much so I always choose softer pinkish corals for a more subtle look.

Mini notebook icon Coral looks best on warm-toned skin (Spring and Autumn) so if you're cool-skinned (Summer or Winter) wear it as a bracelet or purse instead.

Mini notebook icon Wear turquoise and coral in an unpredictable way. Mix and match different colors. Ex. Turquoise and purple looks amazing together.

Spring Fashion Trends 2010: 15. Distressed Jeans

You'll be seeing a lot of these this Spring & Summer 2010, in a form for shorts, pants and skirt. They give an edgy twist to any outfit -- whether it be classy or sporty, distressed jeans can provide you with a certain edge that look chic and casual.

How to wear distressed jeans:

Mini notebook icon Pick the right shape of distressed shreds. What I personally don't like about distressed jeans is how the shreds tend to make you look 10 feet wider. I tried a pair of horizontally shredded boyfriend shorts at Zara's when I was vacationing in Spain and noticed the extra pounds that were instantly added to my hips. Don't get me wrong, curves are hawt, but I'm petite and I looked so much shorter and stubbier in those shorts. Anyway, I purchase a pair of boyfriend jeans with vertical shreds and was delighted by the sight - slimmer legs and a chic look.

Mini notebook icon Mix distressed jeans with something completely opposite, like for example a classy blazer or a ruffle blouse - it creates a chic unpredictable outfit mix.
