So what is it about spandex leggings that we really like? Is it the soft feel when running yout fingers on the fabric? Or the fact that they are a pair of stretch leggings that pull in the extra flab? I say it's both!

Spandex leggings are a fabric mix of both cotton and synthetic materials like Elastan/Lycra. They're an awesome material that makes a garment stretchier and durable all at the same time. Makes them a little bit shiny but the soft feel and look compensate that!

Tips on wearing spandex leggings

They look gorgeous with both high heel gladiator shoes and flats
Make sure you pick the right length for your legs and frame. Both ankle and capri leggings are versatile lengths. But be sure that they do not hit the thickest part of your leg (the calves) or else they might look stubby (unless you have very thin and long legs)! This is an important rule if you have petite frame or have short/curvy legs.
Wear the right length for the season; capris look good for summer and ankle for colder months.
If you're just wearing a long top or a tunic with the leggings, make sure that the hemline hit at least below the butt cheeks. Wearing it shorter will only draw attention to your butt and it'll look funny
Secure versatile colored leggings like black, dark brown, dark navy blue and cream/white. They go great with most color and outfit combos.
