How to Care for Your Leather Tote Bag

• Avoid storing it in plastic bags or other nonporous covers because this will encourage the growth of mildew and bacteria which will end up ruining the leather.
• Got some stains or food on your leather bag? Then all you need is a damp cloth to wipe it off
• For maintenance a dampened cheesecloth and leather conditioning cream should be used 3 to 4 times a year to keep the leather looking fine and durable

Tip: Got grease or oil on it? A tip I got from an Indian friend of mine really works for this kind of stain - clean it by sprinkling the area with grinded chalkboard powder. Leave it on for 24-hour period.
