How to Wear Keds

If you have a Sporty clothing personality or Classic clothing personality with a casual twist, then you definitely need to secure a pair of Keds! But I advise anyone, no matter personal style, to add a pair to their flat shoe collection. It's a nice break from cute ballerina flats. And they look really good with casual clothes such as chino trousers and denim shorts.

Note: If your canvas sneakers are a size too small they'll most likely kill the back of your feet because of the hard material, so I advise to find your accurate size. Also have in mind that your feet tend to swell a little in hot climates so go for these in the half sizes if you have to.

For versatility, opt for the American classic Keds in white - they're simple to wear with almost anything. I have them in the slip on style, and prefer them over the laced ones because of the sleek look. And not least the ease in slipping them on and off. Very air travel friendly. If you want to further extend your sneaker closet I would also recommend you to try out the ones in dark navy blue and/or black.
