How to Wear Mint for Spring Summer 2012

March 1, 2012: I can't cover the Spring & Summer 2012 color trends without highlighting at least one lighter hue :-) Icy shades and pastels are on the top of this season's colors, but I personally think mint is the sweetest color that showcases versatility. This icy mix of light blue and green shade gives off a light and airy feel to your look. A nice break from the vibrant brights highlighted in the previous pages.

If you want to make the most of your buck then you might want to buy mint-colored tops and tees - they go well with your blue denim shorts, white jeans and also your white skirts. If you prefer a trendier chic look try a pair of pants or a blazer in mint. A flowing sun dress can also bring out the Goddess-chic within you.

This frosty-pale shade of blue-green looks fabulous on Cool, Clear and Deep. But you can adjust it to your coloring so that you'll look good in it by selecting a mint color that leans more on green (for warm coloring) or blue (best on cool and light coloring).

I'm all for monochromatic color combos (ie. mint green with nudes) because of their sleek, soothing look. I can definitely see it with cream crochet lace shorts and a pair of nude sandals. Darker blues blend also well with the mint because they belong to the same color-family. And you can never go wrong with white.
