How to Wear Coral Pink for Spring Summer 2012

March 1, 2012: What I really love about Coral Pink is that it looks good on most colorings because of its mix of warm orange and cool pink. It's also guaranteed to enhance your tan! Coral pink is as cheerful as orange, but cuter and yummier :-) It's one of this season's hottest bright colors - pink but with a hint of orange. Coral Pink is also known as 'Warm Pink' or 'Orange Pink'

It looks amazing as a statement piece for spring and summertime - think soft blazer and sizzling platform wedge sandals
. But you can look up-to-date by solely painting your nails with coral pink or wearing it as lipstick or eye shadow.
The smaller details like makeup can really make a difference in your summer look - adding to your sunkissed or deep bronzed skin.

If you're a Cool
then coral might be tricky to pull off because of your dominant cool coloring (there are exceptions of course, for example if your coloring overlaps with a warm seasonal group). So I suggest wearing it away from your face - or opt for one of the other trendy spring & summer colors such as strong pink with a blue undertone - fuschia or hot pink. You'll also benefit better from corals with a strong, pinker hue.

Coral Pink looks good with:
Chocolate brown, nudes, plum, red, other pinks, white, purple, turquoise
Because of its warm and cool mix, it can be worn with a wide array of colors. But the best shades that complement coral pink are the ones that are similar in value
(ie. dark, medium or light intensity). For example, deep coral pink with dark blue; or light coral pink with light peach, or: mint green
