I Want a New Bohemian Look
by Emileigh Milner
Determine your clothing personalityIf you want to create a stylish and unique bohemian look you first need to decide what type of boho look you want to achieve. This means digging a bit deep by analyzing your personality. Like for example, if you're instinctively drawn to edgy, eclectic clothes and you want to go boho then mix them together - wear a bright floral skirt, tuck in a casual t-shirt, and add leather and chain bracelets and perhaps a pair of black ankle boots with a pair of tights into the mix. Here are examples: ![]() Nicole Richie - Classy-boho, Mary-Kate Olsen - Eclectic/dramatic-boho, Zoe Kravitz - Street-boho, Vanessa Hudgens - Trendy-boho Via celebutopia and FAME Pictures August 2011 Update: Make sure to take the style quiz in the Personal Fashion Style-section. Determine your best colorsAfter deciding what type of look you're aiming for, start building your wardrobe by determining what colors suit you and find clothes in those colors.Practice layeringDecide what you want to wear as a base clothing, it could be a pair of jeans and a simple, flowy tunic, or a cute floral dress. If you're going for the dress, do a minimal layering (which means choose solid colored clothes to wear on top) with a cardigan, waist belt, sandals and stacks of bracelets. For the jeans+top outfit you can be more daring by adding a cardigan, boho print scarf, layers of necklaces and stacks of bracelets. Hope this helps! ![]() Products you may be interested in:
